Carrie Engler, raised in Orlando, Fl moved to London, England in 2003. Growing up in the Orlando area provided Carrie a great advantage in helping friends/family plan holidays and special events from the UK.
After being asked to help plan a special holiday to Orlando Carrie discovered a website that, in her opinion, is the best holiday planning website for Orlando on the internet. The website, known as theDIBB, is the ultimate planning website for planning a holiday to Orlando. In 2005 Carrie was faced with planning her own destination wedding and even though she grew up in Orlando she dealt with some of the same frustrations and unknowns that any bride would face during the planning stages of a destination wedding. It was then that she understood what it must feel like for those who
have never travelled to the Orlando area or even to the United States.
In 2006 Carrie returned to Orlando where she resides with her husband Mark. Shortly after returning to Orlando Carrie decided to return to school to become certified as an International Wedding Planner allowing her to better assist travelers with special occasion needs and also with destination wedding planning.
Destination Occasion is a company that is driven on helping those who are already here in Orlando, or are traveling to Orlando, celebrate their special occasions whether it be a birthday, anniversary or a special milestone.
